EVENTS Listed here are all the events and activities that we're planning for this year's festival. OPEN AIR MARKET Begins at 10:00am New in 2010 is the addition of a Farmer's Market. Along with numerous vendors showcasing arts & crafts, photographers, and other products, you can stroll through both a flea and farmer's market. GAMES & FUN Begins at 10:00am Hosted by the Watermelon Festival Committee and organized by the Molton family, there are games for the entire family. The Pardeeville High School, Class of 2011 will be staffing the games this year. 9/11 REMEMBRANCE Begins at 12:00pm Celebrate with us as we honor our local heroes - fire fighters, sheriffs deputies, emergency medical personnel, and current and past military. CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS Begins at 1:00pm Sign up starts at 11:00am with first heats starting right at 1:00pm. Our annual sanctioned events include Speed Eating, Seed Spitting, Largest Watermelon Judging, and Watermelon Carving. The Pardeeville Watermelon Festival is an annual fall festival held the first Saturday in September, hosted in beautiful Chandler Park. It is held in Pardeeville, WI, home of the U.S. Watermelon Speed-Eating and Seed-Spitting Championships, Inc. This year's event will mark the 43rd anniversary.
