2011 Championship Winners

Congratulations to all the winners of this year's championship events. This year we saw Shandra Kratz retain her top spot on speed-eating, even with a bun in the oven; Chad Kratz beat his record last year (6.82s) in speed-eating with 4.10s; Lucas Koch also kept his speed-eating seat from last year (38.38s) with 7.92s; Kent Berney was still top seed-spit in the Senior's spit with 29'-3" - almost a full 8" further than his spit last year (21'-7"); and the Swartz Family from Taylor, WI, went home with the only division they haven't won - FOUR PERSON SEED-SPIT!

The Pardeeville Watermelon Festival is an annual fall festival held the first Saturday after Labor Day in September, hosted in beautiful Chandler Park. It is held in Pardeeville, WI, USA, home of the U.S. Watermelon Speed-Eating and Seed-Spitting Championships, Inc. This year's event will mark the 45th anniversary.
